Writing means a lot to me and I find it incredibly hard. It\u2019s liberating but also scary, it brings out thoughts I didn\u2019t even know I had, and it makes me feel big and small at the same time.<\/p>\n
It is something I want to keep doing because if I don\u2019t, I am certain I will regret it.<\/p>\n\n\n

You\u2019ll find stories about events that shaped me in the section \u2018Sewing Box\u2019. In German we use an idiom: aus dem N\u00e4hk\u00e4stchen plaudern<\/em> to describe talking about your personal experiences in an intimate manner. A N\u00e4hk\u00e4stchen is a sewing box. <\/p>\n\n\n\n I sometimes try my hand at short fiction; it\u2019s mostly to practice character development and storytelling. Take a look at \u2018Fiction\u2019 if you\u2019re interesting in what I make up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I\u2019ll also share musings about current projects with you. And my current project is a big one. My husband and I are deciding whether we want to have a child. Whaaa! I\u2019m researching the heck out of this so that I can make an \u2018informed decision\u2019.
